Kingfisher Equestrian is a family run business with owners Sarah and Andrew Goodwin-Davis and their daugther Sally. The family moved to Kingfisher Farm nearly 6 years ago from The New Forest where they ran a livery yard, show centre and Saddlery business.
Andrew and Sarah have gained a wealth of experience in several areas of the horse world. Andrew was the saddle fitter at their business, White Lodge Saddlery, before that he trained a team of top Show Jumping ponies and also competed BSJA himself. Sarah also competed BSJA and BD to National level. Sarah gained her BHS Stage 4 and has trained several students through their BHS exams.
Sally is now the main rider at Kingfisher as well as teaching Dressage. Sally is very busy competing her own and owners horses at all levels from Novice to Grand Prix. Sally has competed abroad for Great Britain on many occasions from the age of 14 on the Pony Team to currently at Senior Level. Sally trains with Rhett Bird who comes to Kingfisher to teach clinics once a month.
Suzie Maunder, our Head Girl helps Sally with the riding and fitness of the horses and well as helping with the running of the yard. She competes some of the horses at unaffiliated and BD competitions and her own horse in all disciplines. Suzie has qualified Bruce for 3 classes at the Regionals.
Nicola, Charlotte and Kelly are working students at Kingfisher, training with Sarah and Sally for the NVQ and BHS exams. All the girl are working hard for their exams and compete regularly at our unaffiliated shows.
